📘 This article explains how to modify a feed source in AgenticCatalog, which defines how Botify pushes your product feeds to AI systems. AgenticCatalog is part of Botify's Activation Suite, available as an option with all Botify plans.
Overview
All AgenticCatalog feeds are associated with their feed source records, which are accessible on the AgenticCatalog landing page. After creating an AgenticCatalog feed source, you can click it on the landing page to:

About source settings versions
AgenticCatalog maintains multiple settings versions, allowing you to use one in production while preserving your previous configurations for future use. Changes you make to settings only affect your AgenticCatalog configuration when you push them to production.
Versions can be in one of the following statuses:
Draft: Draft settings do not affect your AgenticCatalog feed until you push the draft version to production. There can only be one Draft version at any given time. You can create a new Draft version at any time, which overwrites the previous draft.
Live: These are the settings that AgenticCatalog is currently using. There can only be one Live version at any time. The Live version is in read-only mode by default. Editing settings from the current Live version automatically creates a new Draft version that replaces the previous Draft version, if one existed.
Archived: These are all of the previously deployed versions for the project. You can revert to any archived version or create a new draft from an archived version.
👉 Source settings version numbers are independent of feed version numbers. A new source settings version does not create a new feed version.

The version history shows the date, time, and user name for every change:

AgenticCatalog creates a new version every time you save a change to the feed source details and destinations.
To change source settings:
After opening the feed source, select the source version you want to edit: Draft or Live.
Click Edit (from a draft version) or Edit from this version (from a Live version).
Use the guidance in Creating an AgenticCatalog Feed Source to make the desired changes. If you are editing a live version, a new draft version is created that overwrites any previous draft version. You can click Save changes at the bottom to save this draft, or push the new draft to production to make it the live version.
To make changes live, click Review and push to production.
Review the summary of changes to be applied to the new Live version.
In the Explanation field, write an explanation to help other users understand what was changed and why. This will populate the version history.
Click Push to production to put the changes into effect in a new Live version. AgenticCatalog will use this new version for the next feed ingestion and delivery, unless a new version replaces it.
Reverting to archived settings
Previously deployed Live versions enter Archived status when a new version is deployed. You can revert your current Live version to any archived version.
To revert to an archived version:
Click the Settings label in the header.
Select an archive configuration from the version history.
Click Review and revert to this version.
Review the summary of changes to be applied to the new Live version.
In the Explanation field, write an explanation to help other users understand what was changed and why. This will populate the version history.
Click Revert to version # to put the changes into effect in a new Live version. AgenticCatalog will use this new version for the next feed ingestion and delivery, unless a new version replaces it.
Deactivating a feed source
A feed source is activated when you create it.
To deactivate a feed source:
Click the source tile on the AgenticCatalog landing page.
Deselect the “Active” checkbox.
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
👉 There is no way to delete a feed source; deactivate the feed sources you no longer need.
