📘 This article explains the AgenticCatalog feed audit, which checks a feed source for missing attributes and values that do not meet format requirements. AgenticCatalog is part of Botify’s Activation Suite, available as an option with all Botify plans.
Overview
The Feed Audit checks the product feed you connect to AgenticCatalog against Google requirements. It shows which attributes are missing from your feed and which values do not meet format requirements.
The audit runs from a feed source, before you configure a destination, so you can see what needs attention before AgenticCatalog delivers your feed. It reports on the feed as you uploaded it, before AgenticCatalog normalizes or enriches it. Use the audit to identify opportunities to improve your feed for AI consumption.
Accessing the feed audit
In AgenticCatalog, open a feed source and go to the “Feed audit” section.

Exploring the audit report
The audit has two sections:
Data completeness: How many products in your feed carry each required attribute.
Technical compliance: How many values meet or do not meet length and format requirements, and other technical issues detected.
Data completeness
The "Data completeness" section shows, for each attribute, the number and percentage of products in your feed that include a value.
Required attribute completeness
The bar at the top of this section shows the number of products missing at least one required attribute. The table below it shows completeness for each required attribute. AgenticCatalog counts required attributes in the uploaded file of the latest feed version, before normalization. The count includes rows that normalization would drop.
The completeness of each attribute is identified by color:
🟢 Green: above 70%
🟠 Orange: 40% to 70%, both included
🔴 Red: below 40%
👉 The top bar counts a product once, regardless of the number of required attributes it is missing.
Optional attribute completeness
This section shows optional attributes that Botify can fill through enrichment. AgenticCatalog counts them in the uploaded file, before enrichment, so the results reflect the feed you sent, not the feed AgenticCatalog delivers.
AI conversational attributes
Completing these attributes enables your products to appear in AI answers. Four attributes appear as separate cards, each showing how many products carry the attribute. When no product carries it, the card is labeled "Missing."
The following AI conversational attributes are included:
Q and A: Structured product FAQs to optimize your items for conversational shopping queries and long-tail user intent.
Reviews: Product reviews that display 1-to-5 star aggregated ratings and total review counts.
Product highlight: Short, benefit-driven bullet points added to your Google Shopping listings to enable better understanding of your product features.
Product detail: Specific product attributes or extra specs not covered by standard fields that enable better matching of your products to niche user queries.
Optional attributes
The "Optional attributes" table lists the remaining optional attributes, such as dimensions, material, size, color, and google product category, with the completeness of each.
Technical compliance
The "Technical compliance" section shows how many values do not meet format requirements:
Length issues: Values that are too short or too long.
Format issues: Values that do not match the expected list of values (enum), pattern, or type.
👀 This section counts issues, not products. One product can have several issues, and one attribute can break two rules at once, so the counters and the table do not add up to a number of products. Missing values appear in "Data completeness".
A table below the counters lists issues the two counters do not include, such as a number outside its allowed range (i.e., “value outside enum). Each row shows a severity label, the rule the values break, and the number of affected products.
Severity levels are:
🔴 Critical: > 60%
🟠 Needs attention: 30% - 60%
🟢 Minor: < 30%
