Managing the AgenticCatalog Enrichment

📘 This article explains how AgenticCatalog enriches your product feeds with your Botify crawl data. AgenticCatalog is part of Botify's Activation Suite, available as an option with all Botify plans.

Overview

Creating an AgenticCatalog feed source triggers the product enrichment process. AgenticCatalog enrichment augments the fields that LLMs rely on, such as reviews, Q&A, and product highlights, using contextual data from Botify’s crawl of your product detail pages (PDPs). Including this structured product data in your feed ensures your products appear frequently and accurately when AI agents search for and recommend products.

Configuring the enrichment

The AgenticCatalog enrichment configuration lets you optionally customize AgenticCatalog’s feed enrichment. You can define your enrichment preferences while creating a feed source or after.

To configure enrichment options, complete any of the following fields, then click Save changes at the bottom of the page:

  • Additional prompt: Use natural language to identify your preferences, such as corporate style guidelines and the inclusion or exclusion of specific words.

  • Segmentation: This section includes a list of all product categories in your source feed. Select one or more categories to limit the enrichment to only products in those categories. All other categories will not be enriched when you have one or more categories selected here. Segmentation options are unavailable until the first feed pull completes.

  • Price range: Identify a minimum price in the field on the left and maximum price in the field on the right to only enrich products with prices within that range. The range uses the currency identified in the feed source details; do not include currency symbols in these fields.

🔒 The following options are only accessible by internal Botify Admin users:

  • Enable enrichment: Turns the enrichment process on or off for this feed source.

  • Enable LLM optimizations: Turns LLM-based optimizations on or off for this feed source.

  • Total SKU limit: Maximum cumulative number of products sent to enrichment. Leave empty for no limit.

Viewing enrichment details

The Enrichment dashboard displays after the feed ingestion and enrichment process are complete.

To access the enrichment details:

  1. Select the feed source from the AgenticCatalog landing page:

  2. Scroll to the Enrichment dashboard below the source feed details.

The dashboard shows the enrichment status for the associated feed source. This is AgenticCatalog’s process for enriching all products in the identified source feed, which is independent from destination settings that may exclude some enriched attributes from the feed.

The Enrichment dashboard includes the following KPIs:

  • Enriched items status: The number of products enriched, the total number of products in the feed, and the percent complete.

  • Pending: The number of products in the feed to be evaluated for enrichment.

  • Excluded from enrichment: The number of products in the feed that were not enriched. Products may be excluded from enrichment based on the enrichment configuration (e.g., a SKU threshold was reached or the price is outside the defined range) or Open AI row filters.

Exploring the Enrichment Report

The Enrichment report shows the enrichment details by attribute. Click the Enrichment report button in the Enrichment dashboard to access the report:

The Enrichment report includes the following KPIs:

  • Enriched attributes: The total number of attributes enriched in the feed.

  • Blank values filled: The number of values filled across all attributes with empty values in the source feed.

  • Improved values: The number of optimized values across all attributes in the source feed.

The Attribute table shows the breakdown of these KPIs by individual attribute, plus the average number of new words added to each attribute value.
