π This article provides the steps required to create custom reports in Botify. The CustomReports capability is available with all Botify plans.
Overview
Creating custom reports in Botify is a fast and easy process guided by a wizard interface and drag-and-drop functionality. You must be a project owner to create a custom report.
Creating a Custom Report
To create your first custom report:
Navigate to Reports > CustomReports. The "Manage Your Reports" section displays a button to create your first report.

Click the Create your first Custom Report button. A new custom report is created and saved to the "Your Custom Reports" section.

βNote: When you have existing custom reports, the "Manage Your Reports" section updates to include a "Create a Custom Report" tile.Click the pencil icon next to the default report name to identify a name for the report, and then click the checkmark to save the report name.
Use the date dropdowns to select the range of dates to compare in the custom report. Hover over "Data availability" to see the date ranges available for each data source:
βIn the "Add a short description" field, optionally type a label to help identify the report, then click the checkmark.
Click the plus icon to begin building the report. Alternatively, add components from a Botify standard report.
Add and configure components to build the report.
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 until you are satisfied with your report.
Adding Components from Standard Reports
Components from standard reports include visualizations from RealKeywords and many SiteCrawler charts.
To add a component from SiteCrawler:
Click the cog wheel icon on the component card.
Select Clone to Custom Report, then select the name of the custom report in the flyout menu.

To add a component from RealKeywords:
From a Keywords Explorer visualization, click Add to Custom Report.
Select the name of a custom report or click New Custom Report.

You can filter custom reports by segment, as with other Botify reports. Refer to Managing Custom Reports for information on making changes to custom reports.
