📘 This provides the steps to create and work with trend reports in RealKeywords, a part of Botify's Analytics Suite, available with all Botify plans.
Overview
You can easily create trend reports in RealKeywords and share them with colleagues to demonstrate the value of SEO actions. Trend visualizations allow you to pull data from multiple Botify sources, eliminating the need to navigate to multiple locations. With trend reports, you can cross SEO and business KPIs and see how the data trends over time.
Trend reports can include data from all of the following sources when available:
SiteCrawler: Crawl data
RealKeywords: Google Search Console data
Google Analytics: All available data
Google 360: All available data
Google Analytics 4: All available data
Adobe Analytics: All available data
AT Internet: All available data

Creating a Trend Chart
In addition to tables, you can create any of the following trend chart types in the Keywords Explorer:
Trendline
Series
Bar
Pie
KPI
To create a trend chart:
Navigate to RealKeywords > Keywords Explorer.
Expand the visualization list and select an option. The visualization updates.
A warning displays when converting a table with metrics or dimensions incompatible with trendlines.
Click the Select Metrics link to open the metrics selector.
Click the name of a metric or dimension in the left panel to include it in your trendline. If creating a trendline by dimension, only one metric is allowed.
Select the qualifiers for each dimension and metric, then click Build your trend.

Working with Trend Charts
The chart displays the top five results by average for the selected period. To remove a result from the chart, select the checkbox next to it, and to add a new result, select another checkbox. The number of results displayed on the chart is limited to five.
Comparing Periods
Click the tab for a different period to view the trend over days, weeks, or months in the current period.
Saving Trend Charts
Click the Save button at the top of the page to save the analysis as an Explorer bookmark. This enables you to easily retrieve and share the chart with team members and to add it to custom reports.
Converting Tables and Trend Charts
You can quickly change your data display between tables and trend charts by selecting a format in the column selector bar:
When you change a table to a trend chart, Botify automatically adjusts the selected metrics and dimensions to be compatible with a trend display.
When you change from a trend chart to a table, all metrics become available in the metrics selector, and dimensions become editable.
Adding Trend Charts to Custom Reports
Add your trend charts to custom reports to share insights easily with management and across teams. When you add a trend chart to a custom report, you save it as a bookmark that becomes available in both CustomReports and Explorer Bookmarks.
To add a trend chart to a custom report:
Click the Add to Custom Report link at the top of the trendline.
Select the name of a custom report, or click the New Custom Report link to create a new custom report.
In the Save Your Chart dialog, provide a name and, optionally, a description to identify the trendline, and then click Save. The trend chart is imported into the selected custom report and saved to Explorer Bookmarks.
