📘 This article explains accessing your Botify projects, capabilities, and settings.
Overview
The Botify user interface enables direct access to your project data within focused capabilities based on your SEO goals. This article provides an overview of navigating the Botify interface, and the guides within each Botify suite provide details on working within each capability.
Accessing Your Projects
The Botify Welcome page displays when you log in to Botify. It includes links to all projects for which you are the owner or administrator. Each project is displayed on a separate card with links to the project within Botify capabilities.
👉 Your Welcome page view may differ from the screenshot above based on your Botify plan. Differences are noted in the following descriptions.
1 - Main Navigation Bar: Links to Organization management (manage teams and permissions), knowledge base, and your user profile.
2 - Sort by: Sort projects on this page by the most recent analysis (crawl), most recent log data, or alphabetically by project name. Your view may not include the option to sort by the most recent log data based on your Botify plan.
3 - Search: Search the Welcome page by full or partial project name.
4 - Botify Chrome Plugin link: Provides access to the Botify extension for Chrome in the Chrome Web Store.
5 - Project Cards: Cards link to each project within specific Botify capabilities and include a link to create a new ad-hoc project. When you click a link in a project card, the project opens in the Botify capability (e.g., RealKeywords), and the Global Project Navigation menu displays.
6 - Blog Links: Links to the latest posts on Botify’s blog.
7 - Support Widget: Send a request to our Support team and search our knowledge base. This link is available throughout Botify.
Accessing Botify Reports
Your Botify project reports are accessible through Quick Search shortcut navigation and the Global Project Navigation bar, available at the left of all Botify capabilities and settings pages:
1 - Quick Search
5 - Reports: Custom Reports and Data Exports.
6 - Botify Assist: A GPT integration that answers SEO content questions and makes optimization recommendations within a Botify project.
Reports are grouped within the capabilities in each Botify product suite. Hover over an icon in the Global Project Navigation bar to display the flyout menu with links to the available capabilities. If a capability name is displayed in gray text, it is not included in your Botify plan.
A purple dot in the Global Project Navigation bar identifies an update you still need to view:
Navigating to Another Project
To return to the Botify Welcome page where you can access all projects to which you have access, click the Botify icon at the top of the Global Navigation bar:
To switch to another project without leaving the current Botify capability, click the Switch Project icon in the middle of the Global Navigation bar:
Accessing Botify Settings
Access all Botify settings through the following icons at the bottom of the Global Navigation bar:
1 - Global project settings, the Crawl Manager, where you can start a new crawl and view crawl history, and the Segment Editor, where you manage the rules used to identify sections of your site.
2 - User account settings and access to log out of Botify.
