Overview
While page segments and saved filters are powerful ways to customize Botify Analytics reports, custom reports easily allow you to track an issue across multiple crawls.
Custom Reports allow you to:
Track custom KPIs over time to monitor for trends and sudden movements.
Set filters to target the right page selection every time, eliminating repeat filtering.
Automatically deliver reports via email with each new crawl.
Custom Report Use Cases
There are many use cases for Custom Reports. The following are some common examples:
Track the number of non-indexable pages of a given type or template across crawls.
Prevent losses from sudden unintended de-indexing of valuable landing pages.
Monitor page speed KPIs for specific page types or templates.
Catch changes that may negatively impact organic search through site speed losses.
Measure the impact of performance optimizations over time.
Track changes to the number of internal links referring to a page.
Identify changes to Internal PageRank distribution that may affect rankings.
Watch for the launch of pending site changes.

Custom Report Format
The custom reports dashboard format is ideal for communicating within and across teams. This format is especially useful for communicating top-level metrics with company leadership and aligning teammates on priorities. You can easily change dashboard components to customize reporting to meet your needs for everyday site management or segment analysis. You can also quickly share custom reports by downloading or emailing PDF exports.
Accessing Custom Reports
To access the CustomReports capability, navigate to Reports > CustomReports from the main navigation bar:
The CustomReports capability includes the following pages:
Manage Custom Tables: Tables you build with multiple Botify metrics and dimensions or one metric over time and use as components in your custom reports.
Manage Reports: Summary of your custom reports and access to edit and create new reports.
Templates: Predefined reports you can use as they are or as a quick start to creating your version.
All Reports: When you have existing custom reports, the All Reports page displays by default with your custom reports listed alphabetically. Refer to the Creating Custom Reports article if you do not have existing custom reports.
