About Botify Reports

Updated over a year ago

๐Ÿ“˜ This article provides an overview of the report options available in Botify.

Overview

Botify provides various reports with valuable information for SEO practitioners and business managers. Several types of information are included with the right level of detail for both managers and technical teams to monitor and improve your website SEO performance, such as:

  • Global SEO performance indicators: Current performance through organic visits.

  • Detailed SEO indicators: Structural information such as depth, linking, tag content, HTTP error codes, and page load performance.

  • URL-level data: Drill into information at the URL level and export data to take action through Botify Explorers.

Trend information is also available for these indicators at the site level and for each URL.

Botify Report Fields

Botify includes over 1,000 fields to measure all aspects of your SEO strategy. You can use these fields to filter any report and structure your Botify Explorer reports. In the filters and the Explorer column selectors, fields are grouped by type, and their names are prefixed by their data type. Hover over field names in either selector to view field descriptions.

Comparison Reports

After Botify's second crawl in a project, most Botify Analytics reports compare the most recent crawl to the previous crawl (LogAnalyzer reports are based on log data). You can compare against any previous crawl you can access, as your Botify plan dictates. The increase or decrease in KPIs between the compared crawls is represented by up/down arrows and the percentage of change:

Reports may include the following:

  • Main indicators (usually aggregated metrics displayed at the top of the report).

  • Charts and graphs with detailed indicators that link to Explorer reports.

  • Insights with additional indicator values or interesting indicator combinations (e.g., the number of pages with a single incoming link in the SiteCrawler Inlinks section).

Monitoring Changed Metrics

You can also evaluate the performance of individual metrics across crawls using the Diff Between Crawls or Has Changed filter conditions in your reports to see if there has been a change:

Botify Visualizations

Visualizations of your data are included in comparison reports to provide overviews of key performance indicators. Click into any visualization to view the full Explorer report with the relevant metrics and dimensions applied.

Explorer Reports

Explorer reports contain all data for the associated source, to which you can apply Botify's 1,000+ fields as filters and report columns. Whether reviewing the performance of flagged URLs in one of Botifyโ€™s various dashboards or performing a more nuanced review of your site based on a specific SEO scenario, Explorers are valuable tools to deliver actionable insights into the SEO KPIs you care about.
