π This article explains how to manage custom report components in Botify. The CustomReports capability is available with all Botify plans.
Overview
Custom reports are built with KPI, chart, custom table, custom chart, and text components. After creating your custom report and configuring the report components, you can do the following:
To modify custom report components, navigate to CustomReports > Your Custom Reports.
Editing Component Titles
To change a component's title:
Click the pencil icon in the component tile.
βType a new title and, optionally, a note to help describe the component.
Click Save.

Updating Component Display Types
You can quickly toggle the type of display for each component to get different views of your data (e.g., display KPIs vs data table).
To update the component display type, expand the cogwheel icon in the component tile, and then select another display type.
Editing Component Configuration
You can edit component configurations by applying filters and modifying KPIs on KPI components.
To apply filters to components:
Click the cogwheel icon in the component tile, then select Apply Filter. Step 3 of the component wizard displays.

Click Add Filter, and then select the field and conditions to match.

Click Edit. The component title updates to reflect the filtered view and is labeled with the type of filter.
To add, delete, or update the KPIs in a KPI component:
Click the cogwheel icon in the component tile, then select Edit KPIs. Step 2 of the component wizard displays.

Make the desired changes, and then click Edit.

Cloning Components
To clone a component to another custom report:
Click the cogwheel icon in the component tile, and then select Clone to Custom Report.
Click the name of the report where the component is to be cloned. The component is copied immediately.

Exporting Components
To export a component as a CSV file, click the cogwheel icon in the component tile, and then select Export as CSV.

Deleting Components
To immediately delete a component from a custom report, click the cogwheel icon in the component tile and then select Delete. There is no warning, and this action cannot be undone.
