📘 This article provides information on how to work with LogAnalzer URL Explorer reports. LogAnalzyer, part of Botify's Analytics Suite, is available with all Botify plans.
Overview
The LogAnalyzer URL Explorer defaults to a view that provides quick access to large amounts of data. Using sampled data provides faster results, does not compromise the integrity of your metrics, and can easily be disabled at any time.
Quick View Mode
When the “Quick View” mode is enabled in LogAnalyzer, Botify approximates the number of URLs for the current period based on the total number of URLs and returns a representative sample. No value is lost in reporting with sampled data since the metrics for all URLs are fully available; only the number of URLs returned in the URL Explorer is reduced.
The full data is always available in LogAnalyzer. Quick View mode improves performance, but you can access the full data anytime by changing the view. When Quick View mode is enabled, other Botify URL Explorers are unaffected.
💡All data will be exported when you initiate an export with Quick View mode enabled, not the displayed sample data.
Displaying Full Data in LogAnalyzer
The Quick View mode is enabled in LogAnalyzer by default. You can quickly change to Standard View at any time to display the full data.
To change to Standard View:
Hover over the “Quick view” pill at the top of the LogAnalyzer URL Explorer.
Slide the toggle to the left to immediately change to Standard View with full data.
