Evaluating PageWorkers Optimizations

Updated over 2 months ago

πŸ“˜ This article explains how to assess the impact of PageWorkers optimizations. PageWorkers is part of Botify's Activation Suite, available as an option with all Botify plans.

Overview

In addition to predefined PageWorkers reports, you can easily create detailed reports with the rich data available in RealKeywords to quickly evaluate your optimization's impact. Reveal the unbranded vs. branded performance, trends, and keyword winners and losers of your optimized pages.

πŸ‘‰ Reporting is available for live Page Editor optimizations only.

Creating PageWorkers Optimization Reports

You can analyze your optimizations by:

Filtering Existing Reports

Use the hundreds of data points available in RealKeywords reports to evaluate your PageWorkers optimizations.

To filter reports by optimization:

  1. Navigate to Analytics > RealKeywords.

  2. Click the Add Filter link, then navigate to PageWorkers Optimizations in the Activation section.

  3. Click Optimizations to display the list of live Page Editor optimizations.

  4. Select the name of the PageWorkers optimization.

  5. If the selected optimization is a split test, choose to filter the URLs in the variant group, the control group, or all URLs within the scope.

  6. To filter the report for URLs with the optimization's scope, select Yes; to filter it for URLs outside the scope, select No.

  7. Click Apply to filter the report.

Creating a Report of Optimized URLs

To create a report of optimized URLs according to your preferred metrics:

  1. With the optimization filter applied as shown above, navigate to RealKeywords > Keywords Explorer.

  2. Click Select metrics & dimensions to build your report.

  3. Change the dimension to "Full URL".

  4. Select the desired metrics, then click Build.

  5. Optionally add the report to a custom report for more tailored reporting.

πŸ‘€ These reports show either the URLs within or outside of the optimization's scope, but they do not indicate whether the URLs have been optimized.
