Configuration Changes to Share
The following common changes may affect your SpeedWorkers settings, though other changes may also be impactful. Please notify us when any of the following changes occur:
Your CDN configuration: Botify must be made aware of any changes to your CDN configuration since SpeedWorkers is integrated with it and the service relies on your CDN to work properly.
The number of site scripts used: Any increase or decrease in the number of scripts needed.
JavaScript resources used: We aim to be as efficient as possible when rendering pages to preserve your infrastructure costs. To do this, we configure which third-party resources are worth rendering and which are not. When you make changes to your website, we need to update this configuration to ensure we maintain this efficiency.
CSS selectors: Live Update and some SpeedWorkers scripts may rely on specific CSS selectors. If these are susceptible to change, we need to update the SpeedWorkers configuration for these scripts to work as expected.
Client/Server-side rendering: Notify us if you change from client-side to server-side rendering or vice versa.
User agents and IP addresses: Any change in the user agents or IP addresses allowed or blocked.
If you are in doubt email your Botify account team when you plan any website or infrastructure changes.
