Tagging Optimizations

Overview

Optimization tags in PageWorkers enable you to organize your optimizations with labels most meaningful to your business and unique SEO strategy. Filter the PageWorkers Overview page by tag to quickly find the optimizations most meaningful to you.

Creating Optimization Tags

You can create up to 20 optimization tags in PageWorkers settings.

To create a tag:

  1. Navigate to PageWorkers > Settings.

  2. Click New Tag in the Tags section.

  3. Type a unique name for the tag with a maximum of 20 alphanumeric characters, then click Create.
    ​


    The new tag is added to the list.
    ​

Tagging Optimizations

You can add and update optimization tags on the PageWorkers Overview page. The optimization tag names are displayed in the optimization card.

To filter the Overview page to only show optimizations with specific tags, use the Tag filter at the top:

Adding or Updating Tags

You can add and update tags individually or by batch.

To add or update tags individually:

  1. Expand the three-dot menu in the optimization card, then select Tags.
    ​

  2. Select the checkbox next to the tags to apply, then click Save Changes.
    ​

To add or update two or more tags:

  1. Click the checkbox in the optimization cards you want to tag.
    ​

  2. Click the Edit Tags link. This only displays when two or more optimizations are selected.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the tags to apply, then click Save Changes.
    ​


    The tag checkbox is filled if a tag has already been assigned to one selected optimization. Click it to assign the tag to all other selected optimizations:

    If a tag is already assigned to all selected optimizations, the tag name is checked in the list:

Managing Optimization Tags

You can rename and delete tags in PageWorkers settings.

Renaming Tags

  1. Click the Edit icon next to the tag name:

  2. Type a new name, then click Rename.
    ​

Deleting Tags

  1. Click the Delete icon next to the tag name:

  2. Click Delete to confirm. The number of optimizations with this tag is identified in the confirmation message.
