πŸ›  This article explains adding the PageWorkers JavaScript tag with Google Tag Manager. PageWorkers is part of Botify's Activation Suite, available as an option with all Botify plans.

Installing the Tag

While you can install the required JavaScript tag directly on your website, you can also add the tag through any tag manager. This example demonstrates how to add the tag with Google Tag Manager.

Installing the tag directly on your site is the recommended method, as described in Setting Up PageWorkers.

In Google Tag Manager:

  1. Click the Add a new tag link in the Workspace Overview.

  2. Click the Tag Configuration card to select the tag type, then select Custom HTML.

  3. Add the following script to the HTML box, replacing websiteid with your site ID:

  4. In the Advanced Settings section, scroll to the Consent Settings section and select the "No additional consent required" option.

  5. Click the Triggering card, and then select Initialization - All Pages.

  6. Click the Save button at the top of the page to save the tag configuration.

  7. Click the Submit button at the top of the page.

  8. Provide the following details, and then click Publish to publish the tag to your site:

  • Choose "Publish and Create Version" to immediately publish the tag.

  • Identify a name and description to help identify the tag version.
