ActionBoard Overview

Updated over a year ago

📘 This article provides an overview of ActionBoard, part of Botify's Intelligence Suite, available with all Botify plans.

Overview

ActionBoard provides valuable insight into issues that are affecting your organic search traffic. You can quickly determine which optimizations to make on your site through a prescriptive list of prioritized SEO actions. Recommended actions are derived from Botify's sophisticated data-intelligence algorithm applied to your crawl and log-file data (if available).

By analyzing thousands of metrics about your website from Botify Analytics, ActionBoard identifies and prioritizes the most important actions for you to take to improve your organic traffic. ActionBoard saves you time by eliminating the need to collate data manually and provides reliable data that supports a positive impact on traffic and revenue.

How Actions are Derived

ActionBoard is part of Botify Intelligence, which provides alerting and actions obtained from your site metrics, giving you greater SEO confidence. The recommended actions in ActionBoard are the result of a sophisticated algorithm that processes crucial data points accessed from all steps in the SEO funnel, including the following:

  • How often search engines crawl the pages

  • Whether pages are inactive or active

  • The number of visits to active pages

  • What is learned from Botify’s crawl of the website

  • How important the pages are as measured by PageRank

  • The number of pages impacted

This information is processed and determined by Botify's internal parsing mechanisms and the most current understanding of SEO best practices and ranking factors. Most importantly, the list of tasks and prioritization is based 100% on your data, and all recommendations are prioritized according to the projected impact on the associated URLs' organic search traffic.

ActionBoard Updates

Recommended actions are updated in ActionBoard every time a crawl is completed for your project.
