Integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Log Data

πŸ›  Botify LogAnalyzer requires information from your web server's daily logs and your website's crawl report. This document describes the integration process when Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) hosts the logs.

Overview

A Salesforce cartridge details the setup process to enable the integration between Botify servers and Salesforce Commerce Cloud servers and the configuration of the API Client ID. Postman services are included to test and validate the OCAPI (SFCC API) configuration.

πŸ‘‰ Because SFCC logs exclude the referrer URL, which extracts organic visits, only crawl data is included in LogAnalyzer. The Visits section displays "No Data".

Installing the Cartridge

  1. Download the integration cartridge from the Salesforce marketplace.

  2. Log in to your Salesforce Commerce Cloud account.

  3. Send the following information to Botify Support:

    • The request URL (e.g., https://[yourdomain.]demandware.net/s/-/dw/data/v20_4/log_requests/ecdn, where "v20_4" is the API version).

    • The UUID-formatted client ID provided by Salesforce.

    • The related secret.

    • The Zone ID (typically the website domain name).

Botify will use this information to connect to the API and schedule the log fetching.
